DO I NEED TO BOOK AN APPOINTMENT TO TRY ON WEDDING DRESSES?
Yes, it is always advisable to book an appointment to view our wedding gowns as we sometimes need to close the shop for another brides fitting. If you would like to book an appointment please contact us.
HOW LONG DOES A WEDDING DRESS APPOINTMENT USUALLY LAST?
We normally allow about an hour for trying on wedding dresses. If you think that you will require a longer appointment we can certainly arrange this for you.
HOW MANY GUESTS CAN I BRING ALONG TO MY APPOINTMENT?
Most brides find that it is quite helpful to bring a friend or family member to their viewing and we are happy to accommodate seating for up 5 people however we do advise our brides to be, to bring along 2 or 3 guests whose opinions you value and trust as sometimes too many opinions can cause confusion in your decision making.
CAN I BRING CHILDREN TO MY APPOINTMENT?
We would discourage bringing children to your appointment as they must be supervised at all times and can be a distraction when trying on dresses. However we understand that it is sometimes necessary to bring children along to your appointment. We cannot allow pushchairs at any time in our boutique so we ask that you do not bring them to your appointment.
DO I NEED TO BRING ANYTHING WITH ME TO MY APPOINTMENT?
Comfortable, flesh coloured or pale underwear is advisable and a strapless bra is always good but not essential. If you have any images of dresses and styles you like feel free to bring them along with you. We provide a selection of shoes so there is no need to bring any with you.
WHAT IS YOUR PRICE RANGE?
We try to accommodate for all budgets and have dresses that range from just over £1200 to £3500 plus, however the style of dress you are looking for can influence what is available in your price range. It's a really good idea to have a budget in mind before you start shopping and to let us know when booking your appointment so that we can try to help you find the perfect dress. If you do fall in love with a style that is slightly over budget it can be upsetting but there is sometimes the option to buy a dress off the peg or we will always do our best to find a similar alternative.

Our dress sizes range from a UK 6 to a UK 22.
IS EVERYTHING ON THE WEBSITE AVAILABLE IN STORE?
Everything on the website is not always available in our stores. If there is a particular item that you are interested in viewing please contact us before coming to see it in store. We only have limited stock and can't guarantee that an item will be available to view unless an appointment has been arranged specifically to see it.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I ORDER MY WEDDING DRESS?
Most wedding dresses take approximately 6-9 months to order and fit, it's advisable to start looking at least a few months before this. Shopping for your dress early means that there is plenty of time for fittings and choosing your accessories.
DO YOU OFFER ALTERATION SERVICE?
No, we do not offer an instore aleration’s service but we can recommend an independent seamstress that you can visit at your convenience.
ARE ALTERATIONS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE OF THE DRESS?
Our wedding gowns are ordered in a standard size closest to your measurements and then any alterations would be charged once the dress is with your chosen seamstress. The cost varies depending upon the extent and nature of the alterations required and payment will be taken by the seamstress once you have paid the balance in full and taken your dress from the store.
WHERE CAN I STORE MY WEDDING DRESS?
Once ordered we are happy to look after our bride's wedding dress right up to their wedding day, it will be packed up into a dress bag or travel box for you to collect whenever is most convenient. We also offer a range of beautiful storage boxes for after the big day. If you are marrying abroad we can pack your gown into your hand luggage for you.
CAN I BRING ALONG MY BRIDESMAIDS TO TRY ON THEIR DRESSES?
Yes you can bring along your bridesmaids to try dresses at your appointment but you must inform a member of the team at the time of booking as we will need to book you a double appointment.
